Meeting Em was life changing not only for myself but also for my marriage. I have been meeting with her for a while now for myself, but it wasn't until recently that my husband and I attended a session with her together. As marriages can be, we had some things we needed to work through as a couple. We had tried multiple counselors and we hadn't met any that met both of our needs. It wasn't until we met with Em that we had the breakthrough we had been needing. In just a couple of sessions with her we had a very powerful, healing and connecting session that we both cherish and hold very sacred. She is phenomenal. My husband, who struggles to be open, commented numerous times about the environment she created that was so comforting and healing. I truly cannot say enough good things about the work she is doing. She has impacted my life greatly by the things she has learned and how she is teaching them. Thank you Em! We are grateful for you!

I have been working with Em for about a year now. I have had private sessions with her, and have attended multiple workshops in that time. Her workshops have really opened my eyes as to what my sexuality really is to me, and how I can embrace and love it in the stage of life I am in now. She has a way of teaching that helps you feel safe and comfortable for a subject that can bring up insecurities, be triggering, or is just difficult to talk about. I recently had a session with Em that truly changed everything for me. I was going through something I thought might take so much time to accept and get over. In one hour I had results I didn't know I would ever have. I felt light, happy, and hopeful. As we talked, she helped me see things I normally would not have seen. She helped me accept, appreciate, and learn from heartache. It is evident how much Em cares for and wants to help her clients be the best version of themselves as possible.

About a year and a half ago I was in a huge place of self-loathing. There were things in my life that I was in agony everyday over, one of them being my sexuality. I was freaked out. Uneducated. Unsure of anything to do with a healthy relationship to it. I knew I had to look at this part of my life, because I knew so much pain was hidden there. I got introduced to Em and Honey Rose Haven through a good friend. I talked with her briefly over the phone before a session, and was like, well, here goes nothing. It was a life-changing decision. Em was able to be mindful of me, my pain, my story, and also my gifts and light and abilities. She helped shine a light on things I was terrified to look at, with so much grace and love. I didn’t have to be afraid. I didn’t have to hate myself. I could be loving and kind and mindful. She gave me insightful and beautiful education. She’s a marvel. She’s a powerhouse. She knows pain, and she knows love and light. She is SMART. (She also has no idea I’m writing this.) Em, thank you for helping me come out, and be more ok with who I am.

I can't speak highly enough of Em and her work. I want to share some of my experience working with her. I first learned about Em and Honey Rose Haven when I was in the beginning stages of trying to understand and heal my relationship with my sexuality. I grew up in a home where any conversations having to do with sex or your period was uncomfortable and never talked about. I didn’t even fully know how people have sex until I was 18, which was so embarrassing for me. Because of the lack of education and dialogue, I felt a lot of shame and resentment around my sexuality. As a young adult, I wanted to create a healthy relationship with sexual wholeness and be in a healthy place to have a relationship with someone else. I wanted to come to one of Em's workshops, but I had a lot of fear about it. I needed to know it was a safe environment for me. When I got in touch with Em and shared my concerns, she suggested that I set up an appointment to meet one-on-one with her. WOW, that first meeting was incredible! We covered so much in such a short amount of time, and it was incredibly relieving! I felt safe asking questions and sharing my story, concerns, and fears. I knew that I wanted to keep working with her. I have gone to multiple workshops and had many one-on-one sessions and they have completely changed my life! I never realized how much of an influence my sexuality has on all aspects of my life. As I worked with Em to rewrite my sexual story, so many wonderful opportunities opened up with my job, dating, creativity, family relationships, and with my spirituality too. I have learned more about healthy boundaries, taking care of my needs, and having a clear sense of self. I am currently in a relationship that’s better than I ever thought possible, and I really believe that releasing the shame and rewriting my sexual story made this relationship a reality. Working with Em has been one of the best investments I have ever made in myself.

I want to thank Em for all her help over the last 6 months. I’ve noticed my intimate life has changed for the better. I find myself actually craving sex, looking forward to it and feeling the butterflies I felt before I was married. I even have fun sexy dreams now. And thanks to the vaginal steaming my period cramps have reduced immensely the last few months. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our progress.

I have worked with many therapists and professionals over the years, but nothing has made as big of an impact on me as working with Em. I am healing in ways I never thought possible. I am seeing both my past and my present so clearly, and I am rewriting that story with her help. Em is truly unique in her approach and it has been incredibly effective for me. My husband has said that the time I have spent working with Em has made the biggest impact on our marriage, my parenting, and on my physical health than anything else I have done. I completely agree. Em is amazing at providing good science to guide my anxious and confusing thoughts related to sexuality. One of the things that makes Em special is that she has standard Sex Educator training, she’s also trained as a Gottman Leader for relationships, and her work is trauma-informed. This enables her to support clients more holistically. She has provided a lot of resources for many areas of my life and I love working with Em!

Em taught me how to heal from what I was taught growing up about what it means to be a woman. I was taught to be powerless, selfless, ashamed of my sensual nature. Now I can recognize the strength and wisdom my body contains without judging it by the impossible standards of American culture. She taught me simple yet powerful actions to develop a deep sense of love and appreciation for my body. She’s also helped me take accountability for mistakes without feeling shame, taught me how to navigate difficult relationships, and gave me tools to overcome childhood trauma and learned behavior patterns that were hurting people I love and myself. She’s taught me how to find and trust my true self, and how to be okay with big feelings. I’m no longer living in shame and confusion, but making life decisions with integrity and I’ve learned how to create a life that’s most fulfilling to me and to my family.

I recently attended Em’s workshop Rewrite Your Love Story, Rekindle Your Passion, and Reclaim Your Desires. I was completely inspired and taken back by Em’s presence. She created the most inviting space I’ve experienced outside my own home and made every person, friend, family or stranger, feel welcome and seen. The workshop space was originally outside, but as a storm rolled in, we realized the beautiful space outside had to be moved inside. Em asked for help and in this transition continued to create a healing space for everyone to participate in, all hands on deck we created a new space indoors. She described the storm as a metaphor; that a storm represents an opportunity for change and growth. As the workshop began, she introduced the work she’s poured her heart and soul into and expressed why it’s so important to all of us. Within the circle, she created and held space for every women who spoke. I was impressed and inspired at Em, how she did not allow her ego to take center stage at any point, the space was open and free; safe to be healing, vulnerable and rewarding for all women that participated. I’ve booked a private session with Em and cannot wait to learn more!

I’ve had a sensual awakening, which included healing shame around my sexuality, that I didn’t even realize I was carrying. I’m happy to share my experiences from Em’s workshops. I was a little hesitant to go to the first one. I found the invite through a friend of a friend, and I really wanted to go. I couldn’t find anyone that wanted to go with me, so I got brave and went alone. I knew ZERO people when I got there. But the comfort level? Amazing. Em creates an atmosphere where connection is easy and comfort is high. There’s nothing like the support and nurturing energy of a circle of women. Nothing is awkward or embarrassing. And the information, WOW, the doors for healing that opened for me, that I was barely even aware of, were huge. This is really about embracing ourselves authentically and healing where needed, so we can continue to help each other.
